From Terror to Testimony: Hadi’s Transformation

His life was marked by broken relationships—three marriages, three children from three different faith backgrounds, and ultimately, three divorces. He squandered a lot of money on drugs, lived in reckless abandon, and terrorized his family. His father spent years in fear, never knowing what the night would bring. Hadi would come home after midnight, shouting, cursing, and demanding money at gunpoint.

No one could have imagined that this same man—feared by his own community—would one day be a bearer of hope. But God had other plans.

Hadi encountered the transforming power of Jesus Christ through the ministry of True Vine Church. His story is just one of many. Every month, baptisms take place. The change in him was immediate and undeniable.

“Is this the same Hadi we know?” people ask in disbelief. But his answer is clear and bold: “It is Jesus Christ. It is the Holy Spirit. It is True Vine Church and its people.”

No longer enslaved to addiction, Hadi now spends his days traveling across the Bekaa Valley, sharing the Good News. Just some days ago, he brought Pastor Jihad from True Vine Church to a remote village, where they spent five hours sharing the Gospel with a family. The seeds of faith continue to spread, and those who once knew him as a lost cause now witness a man on fire for Christ.

Even his father, once fearful and exhausted, now sleeps in peace. “For 15 years, I never had a single restful night. But now, I see my son full of joy, full of life, and I know this is real.”
