From Survival to Thriving: Joshua's Journey

With sporadic support from a few people, Joshua endured days without proper food, clothes, or medical care, leading to severe malnutrition and poor health. When he joined the residence in 2022, he was in desperate need of tender care and support. Since coming into the program, Joshua's life has transformed remarkably. Joshua now receives comprehensive care that includes nourishment, shelter, medical attention, and educational support. He received a timely medical care and treatment for a seizure he experienced in April. Since then, he has shown remarkable resilience and significantly improved his health and outlook. Despite his early trauma, Joshua dreams of becoming an engineer, a goal that seemed out of reach before the program's intervention. Currently in Grade 5, he is dedicated to his studies and works diligently towards his dream.
