Joseph was the firstborn in a family of two. Tragically, his mother passed away, leaving him and his brother in the care of their unmarried aunt, who struggled to provide for them due to poverty. Joseph faced immense challenges, lacking school fees, proper shelter, and basic clothing. The thought of finishing school seeming like an unattainable dream. However, in 2018, Joseph’s life took a positive turn when he was admitted to Creation of Hope where he proved to be an excellent student. He quickly became an integral part of the community, excelling in various extracurricular activities such as choir and sports. Despite his humble beginnings, Joseph dreamed of becoming a pilot, a goal he believes is achievable with hard work in high school. Joseph’s determination bore fruit when he emerged as one of the top performers among eleven children in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in November 2023. His outstanding results earned him admission to a prestigious national school. Transformed by his newfound opportunities, Joseph has grown into a courageous and ambitious young man. His sharp intellect and perseverance are set to propel him to academic excellence – and perhaps, should he pursue a career in aviation – into the skies.
