Yes, chickens lay eggs – both a nutritious food for at-risk children (Tanzania & Kenya) and a source of family income (Kenya). But also, the manure can be utilized for crop & kitchen garden fertilizer. Poultry Projects will teach business skills to families (Kenya) and students (Tanzania) and there will be breeding programs too.
