Sunil is Persevering
In the photo below, standing in the back centre of the board with a checkered shirt is Sunil. He comes from a very poor family from west Nepal and does not know his father. His mother is an alcoholic and was unable to care for him.
Nepal Fall Update
In Nepal, the lockdown began in March, suspending all school programs. All of the children were required to stay in the home, and while restrictions have loosened slightly, parks and schools remain closed.

Despite the persecution the church has experienced, pastor Tej’s commitment to bringing people together in Christian outreach is having an impact. A local member of parliament spoke at the event sharing that in the 21st century, people should be free to choose the religion they want. The previous chief of police told Tej that it was his first time learning about Christmas.
Rajendra’s Story
Rajendra was found living in a landlord’s (or Master’s) house with his parents, where both of his parents had become physically paralyzed. Rajendra was part of a lower caste that did not have any right to own property. When he was found, Rajendra was severely malnourished, without any care, and not attending school.
