Hope Story Team

Tim is committed to seeing lives forever transformed by the Good News of the Kingdom – particularly the poor and the oppressed, the widow and the orphan. Tim believes there is hope for every child’s story, and desires to see children reach their full potential through the love and sacrifice of Christ’s Church.

Christian provides leadership on strategic initiatives and supports our international partners in growing their outreach. Christian is driven to empower the children and families we serve to live an abundant life. Christian has an MBA with a specialization in Social Sector Management from the Schulich School of Business and a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Rebecca has served as a communications and marketing specialist with several Christian organizations over the past 20+ years, primarily in international relief and development, and feels blessed to be able to support Hope Story’s transformative work. Rebecca seeks to inspire people to make a difference in God’s world.

As the church engagement officer, Madison is privileged to work with each of our church champions. Her background of working at a local church, including assisting a church plant, has grown within her a love for the local and global Church and how we can be of mutual encouragement to each other. She has also earned a Masters in Theology at Tyndale Seminary.

Maggie’s love of administration, organization, and technology empowers her to support the Hope Story staff, allowing them the opportunity to focus on Hope Story’s mission within their roles. Maggie is committed to seeing children given opportunities that take them from surviving to thriving. Outside of work, she volunteers with organizations within her local community that serve children and where this is seen not just globally through Hope Story but also close to home. Maggie has a background in bookkeeping and information technology.

As a long-time supporter of Hope Story, Karen is excited to be a part of the team! She finds it a pleasure to care for donors by making sure they are fully appreciated and by keeping them updated. Karen feels privileged to serve at-risk children together with local churches around the world, all for the glory of our gracious God. It is a joy to make a difference in the lives of others, and to help communities and families grow and thrive. Karen loves to spend time with family and friends, enjoys time in nature, and loves to travel.

Michaëlle oversees the implementation and management of Hope Story’s supported programs in Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia. She has a background in computer applications and has a master’s in business administration. Michaëlle is passionate about serving and uplifting communities in need and glorifying the Lord through her work. Her desire is to continue to empower communities through sustainable solutions and serving with a passion by bringing God’s kingdom and heart on issues such as hunger relief, equity, justice, and education for all.
